The Globicus-qEcon EMU overall leading economic index’ growth rate, a measure of future economic growth, remained at a high 5.0 in December, indicating continuing economic expansion in the euro area. The coincident index’ growth rate, measuring current economic growth, increased to -5.4 in November from -7.3 in October.
